Fashion Specialist

Job Summary:

Stylish presentations that enable effortless self-discovery on the sales floor through a helpful attitude from Style Consultants in the fitting room are crucial. The sales floor must be fully stocked with appropriately priced and correctly sized items in A&A, Home, and Seasonal categories.

• Adeptness in our GUEST service foundations and successful experience in fostering a guest-first culture that extends to every corner of the store
• One of the critical aspects of retail business is understanding guest shopping patterns. This can help you develop strategies to create an outstanding shopping experience that will encourage guests to return
• An awareness of the latest industry trends, such as changes in fashion style, seasonality, and brand differentiation, is crucial for fashion businesses that want to keep up with the current trends
• In summary, setting up the floor, filling it, and pricing the products require a careful consideration of what is most important to the guests. A well-integrated approach will create an inviting ambiance, excellent products, and appropriate pricing, making it the preferred choice for your guests

Responsibilities:

• From offering a friendly handshake to simply taking a moment to introduce yourself and engage in polite conversation, there are many ways to authentically greet guests and foster a strong sense of community and connection
• To effectively cater to guests' needs, it's integral to read between the lines and pick up on subtle cues in their speech and behavior indicating their intent
• Use the store's available resources wisely to establish a thorough understanding of critical metrics, sales targets, popular and less popular sections, inventory levels, top categories for loss prevention, customer insights, and peak operating hours
• It is important to maintain a well-organized salesfloor that gives customers easy access to products. This enhances the customer experience, encourages repeat visits, and improves overall sales
• To create an appealing shopping environment, it’s essential to stay informed about the latest trends. Trends are an ongoing evolution, and customers are more likely to be drawn to stores that reflect current styles. Furthermore, by keeping up with the brand guidelines, you can develop a cohesive visual merchandising strategy that will enhance the atmosphere and showcase your products. By doing so, you can create a cohesive look across the entire store, making it inviting and appealing to potential shoppers
• Make sure to utilize the fitting rooms to create a welcoming and memorable experience for your guests, and to help them complete their desired look
• Familiarize yourself with the diverse range of products and services offered across the entire store, as well as those specific to your location. This knowledge will enable you to offer relevant suggestions and recommendations to guests
• Make a polite and formal welcome to the guests while balancing your duties, so that they don't feel unwanted or neglected
• Continuously motivate guests by introducing new merchandise, making timely product assortment changes, and maintaining a cohesive brand identity through consistent visual merchandising
• Demonstrate professionalism and competence in managing your designated areas, ensuring that the sales floor is always in optimal condition for customers
• Maintain well-crafted and informative labels for specific categories of merchandise, such as promotional and non-promotional items, and possess a thorough understanding of available promotions
• Implement data-driven revisions to sales plans and planograms for specified categories
• Conduct weekly modifications to the pricing of designated categories
• Implement RFID scanning in designated zones and conduct system audits to validate inventory correctness
• Execute backroom restocking proficiently and efficiently serve customer requests
• Maintaining a well-organized backroom aisle involves managing backstock inventory effectively and accurately placing individual products within the assigned areas
• Increase guest appreciation through effective multitasking
• Ensuring guest satisfaction mandates providing the options they need. Utilizing available resources like My Checkout and the Target App makes it easier to offer alternate choices

Terms:

• Effectively utilize the cash register system to process financial transactions while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy
• Scale and descend through ladder rungs
• Completing the task of merchandise transfer effectively and with great care, which may entail lifting or moving products weighing up to 15 pounds on a regular basis, and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 40 pounds
• The job necessitates employees to be present for work on holidays, weekends and nights, in addition to their regular attendance, as part of the flexible work schedule
