Job Summary:

The focus of these individuals is to make sure that guests are always satisfied with their experiences and seek to recover any negative experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Encourage staff to go above and beyond to delight guests. This can be something as simple as providing directions to a local attraction or offering a complimentary drink to celebrate a guest's special occasion
• Create a memorable experience for your guests by greeting them with a genuine smile and a warm word of welcome
• Avoid being too pushy or overbearing when providing assistance. Allow guests to take the lead and provide support as needed
• Foster genuine connections with your guests by engaging them in conversation and seeking to understand their specific preferences and requirements
• Familiarizing yourself with the products and services available across the store, including your particular department, can equip you to resolve guest concerns competently and improve their experience

• Targeting the Best Possible Service for Each Guest Utilizing Wallet and Other App Features: To provide each customer with the best possible service tailored to their needs, Target has employees who can assist shoppers in utilizing Wallet and other features of the application. This effort ensures that customers can use their app to the fullest, allowing them to get the most out of each shopping experience
• You need to have in-depth knowledge of all the satisfaction services to be able to lead the client on how to enroll, activate, and utilize them
• Strive to implement all return procedures and comply with the guidelines provided on the register. Be assertive enough to take corrective action that will satisfy the customer while following Target's policies and protocols
• By following Target’s policies and procedures and effectively de-escalating any negative situations, assistants can recover the guest’s shopping experience
• Make sure that the guests using Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry services receive easy and uncomplicated service
• Schedule regular times throughout the day to devote to cleaning and tidying up your work area
• During store open hours, prioritize stocking supplies while also being available to answer questions and offer guidance to customers

• Protect yourself and your teammates by recognizing and resolving safety hazards; abide by all safety guidelines and regulations; work safely at all times

About Target:

As a part of the Global Logistics, Inventory Allocation, and Replenishment team, you will play a key role in facilitating the smooth movement of goods across the globe. In this role, you will be tasked with transitioning from sales operations and planning to regulatory compliance with U.S. Customs laws. You will work towards achieving optimal product availability through strategic inventory positioning while building and maintaining strong rapport with our vendors. Another critical part of your role will be to analyze transportation supplier capabilities and contracts for their efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
