Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:

Accountable for enforcing, monitoring, and instructing on inventory best practices and standard operating procedures throughout the store, which includes both the front end and pharmacy areas. Assists in pharmacy inventory control functions such as receiving, counting, ordering, and processing returns. Advocates for On-Shelf Availability and is responsible for overseeing tasks including receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all internal inventory procedures. Confirms and validates the accuracy of planograms.

Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for implementing, monitoring, and training staff on inventory best practices and standard operating procedures throughout the entire store.
• Contribute to inventory management activities by participating in tasks that include receiving shipments, verifying inventory levels, ordering new stock, and processing returns.
• Guarantee the precision and correctness of planograms.
