Roles and Duties:

• Practice safety policies and regulations to establish a secure working environment for every member of the team.
• Learn about safety protocols and preventive measures through safety training programs specifically designed for warehouse workers.
• Play a significant role in the distribution process by packing, loading, and shipping merchandise to customers and retail establishments.
• Ensure the proper processing of merchandise to be dispatched to our retail locations and shoppers.
• Prioritize safety, speed, and efficiency in handling freight and transferring inventory from one place to the other in the warehouse.
• Keep your workspace clean and tidy to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure being on time to work and accomplishing tasks as instructed with precision within the given time frame.
• Effective solutions require a willingness to think outside the box and consider creative alternatives. This can involve seeking input from all levels of the organization, including frontline employees and key stakeholders
• Upholds a constructive and cordial attitude while carrying out responsibilities independently or within a team atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Possesses the physical strength to frequently move and carry merchandise that are 35-50 pounds in weight throughout an entire shift.
• Has the ability to move and transport merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. from time to time throughout their shift.
• Execute activities that require standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching on a regular basis at work.
• Exude a positive and respectful disposition whether working autonomously or in a team setting.
• Capable of carrying out basic arithmetic operations, including counting, addition, and subtraction, with precision.
• Skilled in accurately comprehending and analyzing product labels, tickets, and documentation.
• Proficiency in computer systems and handheld devices can be achieved with just a little guidance after adequate training.
• The capacity to communicate well is not only beneficial in the workplace, but it is also advantageous in all facets of life
• To comply with safety standards, policies, and instructions, a certain level of English proficiency is necessary in speaking, reading, and comprehending the language.

Additional Requirements:

• Competent in handling all powered equipment with proper safety precautions, including Scissor Lift, Pallet Rider, Sit-Down, and Standup Forklift, and capable of working at a height of up to 40ft when required.
• Undertake duties while standing on a mezzanine level that could be as high as 40 ft, depending on the situation
• Adapt at working in different conditions that may include refrigerated or frozen environments, for a substantial amount of time during the work shift.
