• Use your intuition and empathy to perceive the guest’s mood and disposition. Tailor your approach to help relax and reassure those who appear nervous or apprehensive
• Create meaningful connections with guests by engaging them in genuine and personalized interactions, taking the time to ask questions and understand their individual preferences
• A sound understanding of the products and services available throughout the store, including those within your area, can help you to resolve guest issues effectively and improve their overall experience

• Providing Guidance to Utilize Wallet and Other Target App Features: Target store teams are available to help each customer maximize the store's technologies, including guiding them on how to use Wallet and other features on the Target app. Providing such assistance promotes guest satisfaction and efficiency while shopping
• You need to have in-depth knowledge of all the satisfaction services to be able to lead the client on how to enroll, activate, and utilize them
• Make it a point to complete every return process and follow the appropriate instructions on the register. Take responsibility for resolving the matter to the satisfaction of the customer while also adhering to Target's guidelines and procedures
• Ensure a positive guest shopping experience by de-escalating any negative situations and following Target’s established policies and procedures
• Ensure that all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests receive quick and easy service
• Designate a specific area for items such as folders, books, and handouts to keep them from piling up and overcrowding your workspace
• Be both an efficient stocker and an attentive salesperson by ensuring that the store is well-stocked and that you are available to assist guests

In this role, you will need to move between sales operations and compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, focusing on proper inventory positioning for optimum product availability. Another important aspect of your role will be to cultivate extensive business relationships with vendors to ensure timely shipments and deliveries to stores. You will also need to evaluate transportation supplier capabilities and contracts for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
