• Proficiency in our GUEST service principles and proven track record in fostering a guest-centric environment throughout the store
• Understanding basic principles of retailing is essential for succeeding in the department sales. This involves knowledge of sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping habits and pricing and promotions strategies, as well as visual merchandising
• Familiarity with the latest industry trends, encompassing fashion styles, seasonal changes, and brand diversification, is essential for any business striving to stay ahead of the competition
• Setting the perfect floor requires a set of specific skills that can cater to the guests’ needs. It's all about understanding what is most important to them and then creating the right ambiance for their taste

Responsibilities:

• Start your visit on the right foot by giving every guest a warm and genuine greeting that makes them feel welcome right from the outset
• To gauge a guest's needs, it's important to pay attention to their body language and listen carefully to their words, so you can respond appropriately
• Utilize the resources available in the store to develop a solid comprehension of essential metrics, sales targets, popular and less popular departments, product inventory, most frequently occurring areas of shortage, guest footfall, and peak business hours
• Keep the salesfloor fully stocked and arranged in an orderly way to guarantee the availability of products. This helps to create a convenient and inspiring experience for all customers who visit the store
• One way to ensure customers have a great shopping experience is by creating an inviting atmosphere that feels up-to-date and aligned with current styles and brand guidelines. To achieve this, it’s important to stay informed on trends and guides provided by your brand. By doing so, you can successfully execute visual standards and visual merchandising guides that will make the shopping environment feel cohesive, professional, and enticing to customers
• Make sure to utilize the fitting rooms to create a welcoming and memorable experience for your guests, and to help them complete their desired look
• Have a comprehensive understanding of the various tools, offerings, and amenities available within the store. This critical knowledge will allow you to respond to guest inquiries and improve their shopping experience
• Greet visitors courteously without causing any distraction to the ongoing workflow and arrange their requests systematically after completing your own duties, ensuring their convenience
• Uphold product assortment changes and continuously inspire guests year-round by ensuring timely transitions, remerchandising new items, and maintaining a branded space in accordance with updated sets
• Show expertise and commitment in managing designated areas to ensure that the sales floor is well-organized, properly stocked, and effectively labeled for guests
• Maintain precise and effective labeling for specified product categories, both promotional and regular, and demonstrate proficiency in identifying promoted items
• Develop and implement updated strategies, sales projections, and planograms for specific product categories
• Perform weekly updates to defined category prices
• Utilize RFID scans in chosen regions and system checks to confirm stock precision
• Perform the necessary replenishment tasks and guest requests accurately in the backroom
• Ensure proper organization and maintenance of the backroom aisles as per set standards, which includes managing backstock and tracking inventory placement within your designated areas
• Put guest experience first without compromising on tasks
• Addressing the requirements of guests is crucial to maintain customer satisfaction. Utilize the resources available, such as My Checkout and the Target App, to offer options that may not be in-stock

Terms:

• Proficiently manage cash register transactions with precision and clarity to ensure routine financial operations run smoothly
• Perform vertical movements on rungs
• Effectively and safely handle the movement of merchandise, including frequent lifting or shifting of products weighing up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lifting or shifting merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 40 pounds
• Attendance and availability at all times, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, are mandatory for a job with a flexible work schedule
