Style Consultants are friendly and helpful in accommodating customers' needs on the sales floor and in the fitting room.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of our GUEST service basics and track record of cultivating a customer-centric atmosphere throughout the entire retail establishment
  • Visual merchandising can make a big difference in the success of the retail business. It involves arranging the products in an attractive and eye-catching display to entice a guest to make a purchase
  • Keeping pace with the latest fashion trends, seasonal changes, and brand distinctions is vital for any fashion business that wants to stay ahead of the curve in a highly competitive marketplace
  • When pricing the products, it's best to adopt a flexible approach. It means that the prices should be such that users have a range to choose from. This also ensures that guests with different budgets can appreciate the products on offer

Responsibilities:

  • From offering a friendly handshake to simply taking a moment to introduce yourself and engage in polite conversation, there are many ways to authentically greet guests and foster a strong sense of community and connection
  • It's important to understand that not all guests may want assistance, so paying attention to their non-verbal communication and verbal tone is essential to effective service
  • Exploit the store's tools and software to acquire a detailed comprehension of key performance indicators, sales objectives, profit and loss departments, inventory levels, top raid targets, customer movement trends, and busy periods throughout the day
  • By ensuring the salesfloor is always replenished and organized, customers have easy access to products, which makes shopping more convenient and enjoyable. This creates a positive experience that encourages them to return to the store
  • Another key factor in creating an inviting shopping environment is having knowledgeable staff. Customers are more likely to buy from a store where staff can provide expert guidance and suggestions. This not only makes the shopping experience more enjoyable but also helps to build customer loyalty
  • By encouraging guests to use the fitting rooms, you can build trust and rapport, and establish long-lasting customer relationships
  • Continually seek out new information on store products and services by attending training sessions and reviewing internal materials. This ongoing education will help you become a trusted resource for guests

  • Provide updated forecasts for sales and planograms for designated product categories
  • Undertake the workload of changing defined categories' prices on a weekly basis
  • Adopt Radio Frequency ID (RFID) scanning in select areas and perform system audits to ascertain inventory accuracy
  • Accomplish backroom refills and guest needs with precision and diligence
  • The proper organization of the backroom aisles depends on effective backstock management, ensuring that stock is efficiently placed and tracked within your designated areas to maintain compliance with company standards
  • Maximize guest engagement while working productively
  • Adapting to the requirements of guests can be achieved with resources such as My Checkout and the Target App. Offer substitute items as needed to deliver customer satisfaction

  • Responsibly undertake cash handling procedures using the cash register, ensuring that all transactions are correctly processed and accounted for
  • Scale and descend through ladder rungs
  • Move and handle goods with precision and safety, lifting or relocating products weighing up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis, and occasionally lifting or moving products and fixtures weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Attending work regularly and agreeing to be available for work at any time, including nights, weekends, or public holidays, is a requirement for a job with a flexible work schedule
