Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will serve as a helpful Style Consultant, going above and beyond to meet customers' needs both on the sales floor and in the fitting room. They will maintain a fully stocked sales floor with accurately priced and labeled items that come in a variety of styles, colors, and sizes in A&A, Home, and Seasonal categories.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of our GUEST service fundamentals and demonstrated ability to cultivate a customer-centric ethos throughout the retail establishment
• To be successful in retail business, it is important to understand the sales trends of different departments. This information can be used to develop a strategic plan and identify the areas of improvement
• One of the key competencies required in the fashion world is an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, which involves keeping abreast of changing styles, seasonal fluctuations, and the unique distinctions of each individual brand
• A successful floor setup ensures that it is easily accessible, visually appealing, and displays an inviting ambiance that users can enjoy. It means taking into consideration the finer points such as lighting, temperature, and the furniture arrangement to enhance your guest's experience

Responsibilities:

• One of the best ways to create a welcoming experience for all visitors is to greet them with a friendly smile and an authentic demeanor, showing that you truly appreciate their presence
• The key to providing great customer service is to recognize when a guest requires your assistance versus when they prefer to interact with minimal guidance
• Explore the tools provided within the store to gain a comprehensive understanding of significant indicators, such as sales objectives, top and bottom-ranking departments, inventory levels, common areas of loss, customer traffic flow, and peak business periods
• To ensure products are always available, make sure the salesfloor is constantly replenished and well-maintained. This makes shopping much easier for customers and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere
• To create an appealing shopping environment, it’s essential to stay informed about the latest trends. Trends are an ongoing evolution, and customers are more likely to be drawn to stores that reflect current styles. Furthermore, by keeping up with the brand guidelines, you can develop a cohesive visual merchandising strategy that will enhance the atmosphere and showcase your products. By doing so, you can create a cohesive look across the entire store, making it inviting and appealing to potential shoppers
• The dressing rooms are a fantastic opportunity for you to inspire and influence your customers, and to offer them personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
• Familiarize yourself with the diverse range of products and services offered across the entire store, as well as those specific to your location. This knowledge will enable you to offer relevant suggestions and recommendations to guests
• Analyze the sales data to gauge the patterns and figure out the order of priority for daily tasks that fulfills both business objectives and the guests’ requirements effectively
• Keep product options fresh and engaging for guests by implementing timely assortment changes, reorganizing new merchandise, and consistently upholding the brand aesthetic in accordance with new set guidelines
• Become a dedicated and knowledgeable owner of your assigned zones to maintain a consistently high level of organization and customer satisfaction
• Ensure the accuracy of merchandise labeling for designated categories, including promotional and non-promotional items, and possess a strong understanding of promotional offerings
• Revamp existing strategies and sales plans, and devise new ideas for enhancing product categories
• Execute weekly modifications to category pricing
• Employ Radio Frequency ID (RFID) scanning in designated sections and conduct system audits to verify inventory accuracy
• Efficiently fulfill backroom replenishment demands and customer inquiries
• Maintain the organization and upkeep of the backroom aisles, which involves responsible handling and locating of placed inventory and backstock, keeping track of available and restocked items, and ensuring compliance with company standards
• Strike a balance between guest interaction and job responsibilities
• The key to customer satisfaction lies in meeting their needs. To do so, take advantage of the tools available, such as My Checkout and the Target App, to make alternative options available

• Expertly manage daily financial transactions using the cash register with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Ascend and descend using steps
• Precisely handle and relocate merchandise, ensuring a safe and efficient process, which may frequently involve lifting or moving products that weigh up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lifting or moving products and fixtures that weigh up to 40 pounds
• Maintaining regular attendance and being available for work at all times, including weekends, nights, and holidays, is a prerequisite for a role with a flexible work schedule
