Job Summary:

Roles and Duties:

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to minimize the chances of any potentially hazardous incidents.
• Enroll in safety training programs designed to educate warehouse personnel on best safety practices in a fast-paced working environment.
• A crucial aspect of the supply chain, this position involves packing, loading, and shipping goods to ensure timely delivery to stores and customers.
• Ensure that all merchandise processing is done with precision to ensure timely delivery to our outlets and patrons.
• Operate with caution while also moving cargo and stock around the warehouse quickly and competently.
• Having a clean and organized work area is an important aspect of overall workplace safety and hygiene.
• Attend work on schedule and perform job duties with meticulousness and adherence to deadlines.
• There are many different problem solving techniques and methodologies available, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen. Companies may choose to adopt one or more of these approaches to support their continuous improvement efforts
• Maintains an affable and respectful manner when operating autonomously or in a group context.

Requirements:

• Capable of regularly handling and carrying merchandise that weigh between 35-50 pounds throughout the duration of a workday.
• Has the capacity to lift and move packages weighing up to 60 pounds periodically during the course of their shift.
• Carry out tasks involving standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching in the course of a workday.
• Foster a pleasant and respectful attitude while tackling individual assignments or collaborating with colleagues.
• Proficient in using primary math concepts such as counting, addition, and subtraction accurately.
• Demonstrating the ability to effectively read and interpret product labels, tickets, and other documentation.
• Individuals can develop the ability to operate computer systems and handheld devices with little assistance after being trained.
• It is imperative to possess exceptional writing and speaking skills to establish and maintain productive professional relationships
• Sufficient proficiency in the English language is essential to properly grasp safety protocols, rules, and instructions provided through training and instructional materials.

Additional Requirements:

• Skilled in the safe operation of all types of powered equipment, including Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down, and Standup Forklift, and able to work at heights of up to 40ft, where relevant.
• Carry out tasks on a mezzanine floor, which could be elevated as high as 40 ft, when appropriate
• Able to work efficiently in different temperature conditions, which includes being exposed to refrigeration and freezing units for the majority of the shift.
