Inventory Control Specialist

Roles and Duties:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure workplace for all staff.
• Participate in safety training sessions to gain knowledge on how to operate safely in a busy warehouse environment.
• Transport merchandise to retail stores and customers by packing, loading, and shipping goods.
• Guarantee precise handling of products for delivery to our stores and customers.
• Carry out tasks in the warehouse in a safe, prompt, and efficient manner for the movement of cargo and inventory.
• Keep your work area tidy and well-maintained at all times to ensure maximum productivity.
• Arrive punctually to begin work duties and carry out tasks assigned with precision and timeliness.
• Problem solving is essential to supporting continuous improvement in any organization. Successful companies understand the importance of identifying and addressing issues before they become bigger problems
• Demonstrates a courteous and optimistic demeanor when working independently or within a group setting.

Requirements:

• Capable of frequently lifting and transporting goods ranging from 35-50 pounds within a work shift.
• Capable of transporting goods weighing up to 60 pounds intermittently during working hours.
• Engage in standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching tasks throughout working hours.
• Keep a cheerful and considerate demeanor both when working on your own and collaborating with others.
• Possessing the basic math proficiency to perform counting, addition, and subtraction accurately.
• Possessing the skill to read and comprehend labels, tickets, and product documents with precision.
• With proper training, individuals can become proficient in the operation of computer systems and handheld devices with minimal guidance.
• Having excellent communication abilities, both in writing and speaking, is a critical aspect of professional success
• It is necessary to possess a reasonable grasp of the English language in order to comply with safety procedures, rules, trainings, and directives.

Additional Requirements:

• Capable of safely using and being instructed on all powered equipment such as Scissor Lift, Pallet Rider, Sit Down and Standup Forklift, among others, and able to conform to the safety guidelines.
• Perform tasks at an elevated position of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine level (if applicable)
• Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions, such as refrigerated or frozen environments, for the duration of the shift.
