Style Consultants will be friendly, helpful, and adept at catering to customers' needs both on the sales floor and in the fitting room. The sales floor must be set up to display the correct products, sizes, colors, and pricing for A&A, Home, and Seasonal goods.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in our GUEST service fundamentals and proven ability to establish a customer-centric ethos in every facet of the retail space
  • Having knowledge of pricing and promotions strategies is essential in the retail business. It can help you create enticing pricing offers that are competitive with other retailers and will attract more guests
  • Understanding industry trends, such as fashion styles, seasonal variations, and unique brand characteristics, is a key component in the success of any fashion brand
  • A well-established pricing approach enhances visitors' experience and increases their comfort levels, and in turn, they are likely to return to the establishment. The floor will consequently attract an extensive customer base, fostering long-term business sustainability

Responsibilities:

  • Don't underestimate the power of a kind word or thoughtful gesture – sometimes the smallest efforts can have the biggest impact when it comes to making guests feel welcome and at home
  • Pay attention to the guest’s tone and demeanor, as well as their body language, to understand if they are seeking guidance or not
  • Take advantage of the store's various resources to construct an informed outlook on key measures, sales objectives, high and low-performing areas, inventory levels, prevalent sources of loss, customer trends, and peak periods of activity
  • To ensure products are always available, make sure the salesfloor is constantly replenished and well-maintained. This makes shopping much easier for customers and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • One way to ensure customers have a great shopping experience is by creating an inviting atmosphere that feels up-to-date and aligned with current styles and brand guidelines. To achieve this, it’s important to stay informed on trends and guides provided by your brand. By doing so, you can successfully execute visual standards and visual merchandising guides that will make the shopping environment feel cohesive, professional, and enticing to customers
  • The dressing rooms are a fantastic opportunity for you to inspire and influence your customers, and to offer them personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
  • Be aware of all of the tools and resources available to guests, including in-store kiosks, customer service representatives, and online platforms. By providing guests with information on all of these options, you can assist them in finding the best solution to meet their needs
  • Prioritize your daily tasks based on your understanding of the current sales trends, so that you can serve the guests more efficiently, ultimately leading to business success
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by regularly updating product offerings, setting transitions on schedule, and upholding brand standards through consistent re-merchandising
  • Maintain a deep level of knowledge and proficiency in managing your assigned areas, including effective zoning, inventory management, and signage implementation
  • Verify that accurate labeling is being used for designated product categories, including both regularly stocked merchandise and promotional products, and be knowledgeable about promotional offerings
  • Develop and execute sales promotions and discounts to help augment category sales
  • Execute weekly adjustments to category prices as designated
  • Utilize Radio Frequency ID (RFID) scanning in chosen regions and perform system checks to confirm inventory accuracy
  • Carry out replenishment activities flawlessly and cater to the requirements of the guests
  • Keep the backroom aisles neat and organized by managing backstock properly and accurately locating inventory items, effectively tracking inventory items within your designated areas
  • Prioritize guest satisfaction while accomplishing work responsibilities
  • Adapting to the requirements of guests can be achieved with resources such as My Checkout and the Target App. Offer substitute items as needed to deliver customer satisfaction

  • Responsibly undertake cash handling procedures using the cash register, ensuring that all transactions are correctly processed and accounted for
  • Clamber upwards and downwards through steps
  • To ensure safe and efficient handling of merchandise, lift and move products up to 15 pounds frequently and products and fixtures up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • A flexible work schedule requires that employees be available for work on weekends, holidays, and evenings and maintain regular attendance
